Marquise Pointer fits the perfect definition of an underrated player. The 6'2 strongly built point guests has all the versatile skills that allows him to play on both ends of the court. He has the capacity to control the pace of the game and also possesses the physical strength to drive to the basket with authority. Along with his athletic ability, an under scouted part of his game is his ability to shoot off the dribble in the mid range gMe and his polishes passing skills. He is such a threat off the pick and roll due to his  high IQ of when to take the shot and when to dish it to his teammates. Nationally televised games of his AAU team (Arkansas Wings Elite) along his highly touted teammate Malik Monk have been a great platform to showcase his talent. The combination of size, versatility, and his scoring ability makes him a very special player. Wichita state recently joined in the race to recruit his talents with hopes of many more to come.
