Hailing from Fort Wayne, Ind., basketball had always had a major place in the life of 2016 point guard Reggie Tharp.

Playing on an AAU team with top 150 forwards Matt Moyer and Seth Towns, Tharp can seem to go unnoticed at times, but don't sleep on this kid.

Albeit being undersized at 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, Tharp is a leader on the hardwood and plays with great basketball IQ. With the ability to pull up and shoot at a moment's notice, Tharp can also slash and create opportunities for his talented teammates in the front court.

With limited recruiting activity going on for Tharp, the rising junior guard has taken unofficial visits to both Michigan and Michigan State. As Moyer has record up close to 30 offers and Towns holding a coveted Michigan offer, Tharp had a chance all summer to play in front of various coaches on all levels. One of the better point guards in his region, keep an eye on Tharp for years to come.
